| Susan Forte President/Founder/Owner After practicing corporate law in a large Washington, D.C. law firm for 6 years, Susan took over her family's Philadelphia mail-order business and grew it into a highly profitable, productive entity that was also a really fun and nurturing place to work. Ironically, that is where she discovered the pet-sitting industry---while researching pet related products for a new catalog. Susan had two life dreams since she was a child: to have her own business and to work with animals. Heaven Sent married the two. Helping to create and build Heaven Sent has truly been one of the most rewarding, challenging, and exciting ventures she has ever been a part of in her entire life. The pets, pet parents, and pet care specialists she has gotten to know over the years have all been absolutely wonderful. She continues to instill in the company the mission to serve pets, pet parents, the team, and the community with excellence and integrity. Susan is a singer-songwriter and is in the band "Alter Ego". She is very lucky to share her home with her wonderful husband David, children Joey and Sofia, and her first baby Willie "the Wonder Dog". |
| Alexis H. Scheduling and Office Administrator Pet Care Specialist Alexis is one of our newest team members. She joined our staff in November of 2008 as our first Scheduling Administrator. In addition to spending her mornings making sure that all of our clients schedules are accurate, and assuring that our walkers are happy with their routes, she spends part of her afternoons taking care of some of our critter clients! As she says"it's the highlight of her day!" Alexis comes to us from a varied background, having spent over a decade working in Finance and most recently served in the Peace Corps' Environment sector in Morocco. She is a very special animal person who has been involved with rescue work over the last 15 years. She has a very deep knowledge of animals and has done extensive training with her own dogs. Alexis has a particular fondness for the Bully breeds. She currently has 3 dogs and 6 cats. Wow! |

| Angie B. Pet Care Specialist Organic Pet Treat Creator/Baker Angie is a hard-core animal lover. She lives with so many animals that we can't even list them. Angie has volunteered at animal shelters and various animal organizations for close to 7 years. She enjoys dog walking because she spends the day with one of her favorite animals and meets all different kinds of dogs. Angie is also the creator of "Coco Bella Pets", a home-based pet bakery that carries a wonderful line of organic treats for dogs and cats. Coco Bella Pets donates 25% of its proceeds to local animal shelters to assist in the animal's basic care and medical needs. In addition to dog walking, pet treat baking and volunteering, she somehow finds time to be a writer and writes for various on-line magazines. When she's not working she can be found singing karaoke. She lives in Chicago with her lovely partner and their veritable "zoo" of pets |
| John McG. Pet Care Specialist John was born in Chicago, and raised in Chicago, so he knows where all the best pizza places are. He has had two dogs as a kid, a mutt named Maggie, and later a beagle named Maddie, because his family was clever like that. When he wasn't doing his dog-related chores, he could often be found making movies and being terrible at sports.
